Philippians 4:7-9

Philippians 4:7-9

7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. 
9 Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

    o Peace comes from God
    o God's peace is something unlike anything you've experienced before
    o God's peace comes from trusting in Jesus
    o To stay in God's peace train your mind on the things of God and away from worry/anxiety
    o Make trusting God and meditating on Him a lifestyle this is the only way to live in God's peace

    GOD:
    I want you to trust me. I want you to experience My peace. If you want to be free from the burden of anxiety and worry then surrender your stress to Me and I will shoulder the burden. I am the God of the Universe. I'm the one that created the whole world. You have all the resources of the universe at your disposal when You ask Me. Don't just trust me when you are stressed out. Make it a daily practice and habit to meditate and trust in My Word. If you do this then you will know that I will never leave you nor forsake you and that I've given you all you need.

    ME:
    Lord please help me to train my mind on You. When I feel worried and stressed help me to first turn to You instead of the other things my mind wanders to. You are the God of the universe and I have so much to be thankful for. Help me to rejoice in all circumstances knowing that You are God, You've called me and equipped me for every good work. Help me to have a lifestyle of thanksgiving.

If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ." Galatians 1:10 1.
